LESLIE C. HUNTER LESLIE C. HUNTER

A native of Calgary , Alberta , Les relocated to B.C. in 1968, and obtained his law degree from the University of Victoria in 1984. Les articled in Nanaimo on graduation from law school, and decided that this was a beautiful, energetic, growing community in which he wished to reside, raise his family and practise law.

An avid skier, golfer and dedicated member of Rotary International, Les takes pride in the many fundraising events and community activities in which his club participates. Recognizing the importance of volunteering, Les has been actively involved in numerous community-oriented boards and fundraising events; most recently he is very proud of being a founding director of the exciting new B.C. Junior Football League franchise, the Vancouver Island Raiders.
Over the past 20 years, Les has concentrated his solicitor's practice in Real Estate law, Real Estate Development, Wills, Estates and Estate Planning including the preparation of trusts, and Corporate and Commercial transactions.
Les also conducts and contributes to information- based seminars in estate planning and business development.
Together with his dedicated and qualified support staff, Les welcomes the opportunity to assist clients in achieving their personal and business goals.
 
TIMOTHY J. HUNTSMAN LESLIE C. HUNTER
Timothy John Huntsman was born in London , England , and moved to Newfoundland at the age of six. He completed his first degree, in Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering, at Memorial University of Newfoundland in 1996 and engineered in Vancouver until the fall of 1999, at which time he commenced his legal studies.
Upon graduation from law school in the spring of 2002, Tim articled with the law firm previously known as Hunter Garrett Lobay. Tim now practises at the offices of Hunter & Company in association with Les Hunter, whereby he is primarily involved with most areas of civil litigation including family law, construction law, motor vehicle accident claims, other personal injury claims and tax appeals. Tim also acts in the capacity of a solicitor in preparing trusts, wills and addressing taxation issues both domestically and as pertains to the taxation of offshore trusts in Canada.
An experienced sailor, Tim has sailed extensively around the globe, and has captained his own 40 foot classic sailboat, The Lady of Lynn, from England to North America . Tim currently volunteers his time with the Canadian Coast Guard Auxillary, and has in the past volunteered with various environmental groups and the Special Olympics.
Tim also enjoys contributing to estate planning and trust seminars.
